From Fukuoka / Kumamoto City / Kagoshima:
Take the Kyushu Expressway, exit at Mashiki Kumamoto Airport IC, then drive 45–50 minutes via Route 206 and Route 28 towards Minamiaso.
From Oita direction:
From Taketa City, head toward Takamori Town → Route 265 → Route 325 → Route 28.
From Miyazaki (Takachiho Town) direction:
Take Route 204 → Route 325 → Route 28.
From Kumamoto Station or Aso Kumamoto Airport (by rental car):
Take Route 28 (Kumamoto-Takamori Line) via the Tawarayama Tunnel, heading towards Minamiaso / Takachiho area.
